Enzo Bonafé Black Oxford Cap-toe Oxfords
These oxford shoes from Enzo Bonafé feature hidden seams and what they call a “donkey back” waist. They achieve a super slim and slight beveled waist by combining a handwelted and black stitched construction. The traditional handwelt construction in used in the forefoot and is then blake stitched in the waist allowing the sole to be cut extremely close to the upper. It makes this oxford even more sleek and minimal, but still benefitting from the sturdy construction of handwelting. Considering that the waist on the sole of the shoe rarely sees wear or needs replacement, one can go with a half re-sole on the handwelted part of the sole when it wears down.
